How Does Hair Direction Work

Popular Hair Direction Options

Freestyle

The only and truly flexible hairstyle that allows you to change the hair’s direction and part it freely.

Forward Pomp / Brush Back

The hair is ventilated forward and brushed back from the front to look extra voluminous. For clients who love that ‘Elvis look’, the Forward Pomp is their ultimate go-to.

Flat Back

The hair is ventilated in a single direction, lying flat against the scalp. This style doesn’t exhibit much volume or flow like the Forward Pomp.

Center Part

A subtle center line with hair parted along it to give a symmetrical appearance, framing the face for a clean and timeless style.

Left Part

The side part will never go out of fashion. Either right or left, the client has the say.

Right Part

Opposite of Left Part

Left Break

A subtle and solid part, very similar to the Left Part

Right Break

Opposite of Left Break

Leftward Whorl

Hair extends outward from the center of the whorl in all directions.

Rightward Whorl

Opposite of leftward whorl

Center Whorl

Hair whorl at the top of the crown with hair radiating from it in all directions.

If you prefer a part, we recommend a left part/break or right part/break, and we typically increase density along the parting area for a more natural look.

If you want a freestyle, you can still let us know where they would like the parting to be placed, and we’ll add more hair in that area to enhance its natural appearance.
